Raining since morning. But glad it was just light rain, and not heavy thunderstorm. Impressive how much I could carry!

Grp leader was kind enough to let me off work a few minutes early so that I could catch my bus to Washington DC. 

Arrived in DC approx 9pm. Took me another hour to get to VA to meet up with the family. 

ok I admit it was a little awkward initially because it has been a while since we last catch up & see each other. At least I felt a little self conscious. Or maybe was just tired fr the 5 hr bus ride. 

Lovely place. And I slept.
